Hello! I am Romi Hasegawa, Screenwriter and Director of the film Me and Her.

This film is an LGBTQ+ work that portrays the strong journey of two women.

I believe that in life, when anyone faces difficulties they never imagined, sincere love can encourage us to make decisions and strengthen us. In creating this film, I focused on expressing the complex emotions of the characters and the passage of time in a world without dialogue, using sound to convey their experiences. I hope that viewers can reflect on what they would do in similar situations.

I would be happy if this work serves as a trigger for everyone to feel the beauty of loving someone wholeheartedly.

こ の 映 画 は 、 2 人 の 女 性 が 強 く 歩 ん で い く 姿 を 描 い た L G B T Q + 作 品 で す 。

人 生 に お い て 、 ど ん な 人 も 想 像 し て い な か っ た 困 難 に 直 面 し た と き 、 真 っ 直 ぐ な 愛 情 が 選 択 を 後 押 し し た り 、 自 分 を 強 く し て く れ た り す る こ と が あ る か と 思 い ま す 。 登 場 人 物 た ち の 複 雑 な 想 い や 時 の 流 れ を 、 セ リ フ の な い 世 界 で 映 像 表 現 や 、聴 こ え て く る 音 に こ だ わ り 、 観 る 方 が ” 自 分 な ら こ ん な 時 ど う す る か な ” と 考 え て も ら え た ら い い な と 思 い な が ら 制 作 し ま し た 。 こ の 作 品 が 皆 さ ん に と っ て 愛 す る 人 を 真 っ 直 ぐ に 思 え る 素 晴 ら し さ を 感 じ ら れ る き っ か け と な れ ば 嬉 し い で す 。
